Competiton

OOOH Also I helped judge a design project competition for the new MDes version of my old course at Brighton Uni, which was fun, as some of the students involved had been my first year assistants in my graduate year. I know Sportswear projects can get put to the bottom of the pile, but there was some great stuff and some very clever-but-realistic ideas and designs, so hopefully we'll have some intern-fresh-blood in the studio soon! Need to remember to chase up what's happening with that one.

Exhibition

Brighton Arts company dreamthinkspeak are borrowing a few of my pieces for an exhibition in Brighton, which is obviously really exciting for me, and yay free publicity! It's gonna be lovely to see my work on display along side some of my friends and fellow Brighton graduates. I'm sworn to secrecy but it looks like it's going to be a veeerry interesting exhibition/and-more!

Magazine

My friend and fellow Brighton graduate Viccy Hill loaned a few of my pieces to style for Kizmet and J'Adore magazines, and I'm really impressed with the results, she really did it justice.

Late Blossomer

OK, so I'm a blog virgin, and I'm a little late in the game, so I'm gonna have to back date a little, whilst trying to keep it succinct, which is hardly my forté. Here we go:

I graduated from University of Brighton - Fashion Design with Business Studies 2009

At our London show I got some attention from stylists and bloggers Fred Butler and Kim Howells, Kim borrowed some of my collection for a shoot with Skunk Anansie, sadly I don't think owt got used, as I've not seen any of my work cropping up in shots of Skin or their videos, but just having the interest was so exciting.

Even better Fred gave me a 3 image feature in her review of the Brighton grad show, which flattered me beyond belief! She even forwarded me on to Sarah Mower, she is so lovely!

Ooh yeah, here they are:
